Who are we?
Beech Consulting and Training is a business started in 1997 by Tim Hill of Beaconsfield, Bucks after he left a major high street bank. He was widely known as Tim the Trainer whilst there and became the Lending Strand Manager in their Thames Valley and Eastern Region. He spent a dozen years being responsible for managing a training team and delivered the whole gamut of training to the widest range of seniority, from new clerks to Regional Directors. A merger saw the abolition of his department and at about the same time, banks were becoming more reliant on sales-target-driven, credit-scored lending. Though Tim's idea in the early 1970s of shared cash machines in shopping centres was considered 'revolutionary', his feedback about loan repayment insurance and pensions being mis-sold fell on deaf ears. Tim continues to develop and deliver a wide range of face-to-face training and coaching for a diverse portfolio of clients.
